This project was a full renovation for a dated townhome. We started from the ground up by gutting the existing floors, kitchen and all the bathrooms. Some of the major changes on the ground floor include redesigning the foyer with a colourful mural and the addition of the curved staircase. Our clients wanted an open layout and we achieved that by removing walls and rearranging the kitchen. We started off by creating a neutral modern canvas with classic design elements such as wainscotting on the walls, wide oak floors, and high sheen lacquered black doors. Elegant pieces of furniture were curated from premium retailers such as Elte, Pottery Barn, The Art Shoppe (now closed) and Union Lighting & Furniture.

 

Our clients are a family of four, with a teenage son and a young daughter. Their varied needs as a growing family enabled us to experiment with a wide range of colour, texture, finishes and personality/mood in each room of the house.
